As part of our ongoing commitment to protecting our neighborhood and property values, and providing a safe, desirable place to live, we hold monthly neighborhood cleanups.

We meet in Clinton Park (NW corner of North and Brooklawn) at 9:00am on the second Saturday of each month, weather permitting. We team up to collect trash from the streets, medians, parks and sometimes remove weeds from the parks. Each month we collect several large bags of assorted trash — and our efforts have not gone unnoticed.

The cleanups have proven to be a highly successful form of outreach, bringing us new members and new friends. We are grateful to Unger Enterprises of Bridgeport for their generous donation of trash cleanup equipment. We also have the satisfaction of keeping our neighborhood looking clean and well cared for.
